Questions
Is it really free?
Yes, for now. The first 50 copies of No. 1 are free, postage included, because I want to learn whether this is worth doing. If it is, later issues will be available for purchase.
Why print?
Because a lot of collectors would rather hold it. I've heard from plenty of carvers and collectors who were disappointed when a publication they loved went digital-only, and I'm listening.
Is this an appraisal?
No. It shows what birds like yours brought at auction. What yours is worth is between you and a buyer.
How often do guides come out?
Each issue covers one carver or factory. I'm doing this on nights and weekends so as time allows.
