Ira Hudson Canada Goose Pair

Ira D. Hudson (1873-1949) Chincoteague, VA, c. 1920 Two life-size, hollow, goose decoys with curvaceous necks. They display tack eyes, intricately carved bill detail, and their original weights. Both birds are in a second coat of Hudson paint with even gunning wear, neck cracks, body seam shrinkage, and flaking around nail holes. The neck has been professionally reset and the end of the bill restored in the left-turning bird.
