A. Elmer Crowell (1862-1952) East Harwich, MA, c.1928 16.75" long
Classic working black duck with gold feathering and painted speculums. The speculum, mostly only visible on the left side, is painted blue with a streak of black and white behind it. Breast is rasped. The head has rasping on the backside to add feathering texture. Original glass eyes. Bears the Crowell rectangular stamp.
Condition: Good and original paint with a replaced bill. Paint rubs from even hunting use.
