J.N. Dodge Decoy Co. (1884-1894) Detroit, MI, c. 1890 Early one-piece, tack-eye, factory shorebird decoy. Mackey inventory listed this bird as a robin snipe. Mackey collection stamp on underside. Traces of original paint, mostly worn to bare wood. Replaced bill; lightly hit by shot.
