Willie Ross (1878-1954) Chebeague Island, ME, c. 1920 “Hairy Head” decoy with Peacock feather crest. Carved initials "AWH" on the bottom. In dry original paint with even gunning wear; worn to bare wood in places; lightly hit by shot; an old tail chip and a few age lines.
