Very plump Common Eider drake carved with styling from coastal New England / Canada's iconic eider decoys. Hollow body with deeply beveled lines where the wavy black lines meet the white. Applied head with cut eyes. Leather line tie on the bottom with the makers "R Birch" insignia carved in. Condition: Excellent and original, as aged by artist
