John McLoughlin (1911-1985) Bordentown, NJ c.1945 15.75" long

Early working hollow carved decoy. Applied keel with a weight attached. Made in the "Bullet Ass" model style. Simple body with a well sculpted head.

From the decoy collection of Bob White, with the Bob White black ink collection stamp on the underside.

Condition: Original with working wear to include some paint loss and roughness to the tail edge and bill. Some tight cracks in the head and a small sliver of filler and paint loss to the bottom left of the neck.
