A handsome wood duck drake decoy with stunning posture and paint. The finish is soft and utilizes some of the underlying grain and fine comb feathering to add depth to the surface. Hollow carved with an upswept tail and raised and separated wing tips. The watchful bird rests with its bill tucked into its back feathers, its glass eyes open and attentive. The bottom bears the Keith Mueller brand.
