The catalog record
George Boyd (1873-1941) Seabrook, NH, c. 1920 A classic New England shorebird with Boyd's finest "wet- on-wet" stippled paint. Of the dozens of George Boyd yellowlegs that we have handled over the last twenty years, the paint on this example is perhaps the finest. Original paint with minor rubs to wing tips and bill; tiny chip to tail; hairline crack to neck has been professionally reset with virtually no touch up (approximately a 11/2 millimeter band).
