Allen Purner Flying Canvasback Miniature

Beautifully carved and painted flying Canvasback. The running metal legs and downward flap give the illusion of fresh take off from the bay. The thin applied wings are wooden carved with 5 individual wing tips cut into each wing. The bill is carved where it meets the face, the eyes are painted tacks. Signed and dated on the back of the wooden plaque by the artist.

Condition: Excellent and original. Tight paint seam lines are visible on the last inch of the topside of the wing.
