Oliver Lawson Miniature Redhead Pair

Oliver "Tuts" Lawson (b.1938) Crisfield, MD c.1960 Both 8" long

Matched pair of cedar carved redheads. Both are carved in a similar manner with smooth bodies and a deep ice line running down the back. Both have heads turned off to the left with small painted tack eyes and some carved detail under the bills. They're both signed and dated 1960 on the underside.

Condition: Good and original. Hen has a tight crack along the top edge of her bill (does not extend into the face) and minor discoloration from a small knot on her back. The drake has some small rubs on its forehead and both have some small paint loss to the black on the tip of their bills.
