Milton C. Weiler (1910-1974) Garden City, NJ, c. 1969 14 in. long

A rare Weiler shorebird carving, signed "M. C. Weiler" on the side. The collector's notes identifying it as a commissioned Eskimo curlew are on a label on the base. Original paint with light wear, some seams showing around putty shrinkage, mostly around legs.
