An exceptionally well executed replica of the Harry V. Long Elmer Crowell Merganser Drake, easily one of the most iconic Crowell decoys in existence. The faithful reproduction, done by one of New England's most talented carvers, matches the size, posture, and carved details of the Long Merganser, even down to the length running check in the back. Not to be an entire copy, Byron added some personal touches to the paint as well as some extra carved detail in the back wing feathering. The underside has a large and deep 'B' carved into it. All at a price much more attainable than $207,000!
