George Strunk (b.1958) Glendora, NJ Base 13.5" long | Drake 12" long | Hen 10" long

Life-size stick-up pair of Blue-winged Teal. Very lightly hollow carved. The birds have exceptional paint and are well sculpted. Taking influence from the Delaware River carvers before him, the decoys have raised 'V' wing tips that come to a raised point just before the beginning of the step down carved tail feathers. The base is custom made and painted by George as well. Each bird is signed by George underneath near the stick hole.
