Benjaimin Schmidt (1884-1968) Detroit, MI, c. 1940 and 1960 Drake is a wide-bodied decoy with carved wing feather detail. Hen has "JF" struck into bottom and has rasped detail on the wings and tail. Drake is in original paint with age lines on one side of head; bill has been reset. Hen is in working repaint with gunning wear; lightly hit by shot; age lines in one wing, one side of head and the bill.
