Mark McNair (b. 1950) Craddockville, VA, c. 2000 11 in. long
Flicker decoys of any vintage are rare, with only a handful of early examples originating from the Crisfield, Maryland, area. This appears to be the first McNair flicker decoy to surface at auction. The underside bears the incised "McNair" signature and a metal ring to hang the woodpecker on the nail of its original base. Original paint and wear.
