Outstanding wood duck drake from the collection of Dr. John Cunningham, as indicated by the three small holes drilled into the underside. Extended crest, raised crossed wingtips, and relief tail feather carving. Beautiful paint detail. Maker’s oval brand on the underside, also identified in pencil. This is the exact decoy used on the 2004 Massachusetts Waterfowl Stamp. Measures 13.25” long.
