The Mason Decoy Factory positioned themselves as the watefowl hunters one-stop-shop for decoys. In their effors to be the hunters choice, they offered any assortment of customization options should the customer ask for it. Even going as far as offering to duplicate in form and paint any decoy that is sent their way. Think of the Mason-Bowman Curlews.

Though still rare to find today, one of their more common customizations was taking the Challenge Grade decoy, making it hollow, and more often than not, putting 'Premier' line painters on the job. This is one of those rare special orders, a hollow carved pintail drake. The head is a desireable snakey neck design. Condition: A mix of original and working paint. Mostly in the white and grey with strengthening to the speculums. Touch up to the black around the tail with a roughly 1.5" repair. Seam is visible on the left side.
