Recognized decorative carver who's competed in the Ward World Championships as well as a frequent carver in the IWCA (International Wildfowl Carvers Association) and has scored numerous ribbons. The Black Duck is a life-size decorative competition decoy. The bill is carved to exacting life-like deatil, with the wing tips raised and prodruding from individual relief carved feathers. The paint pattern assists in adding depth and the illusion of depth under carved feathers. The underside is signed and dated by the maker. Condition: Near mint with minimal wear
