Al Glassford (b.1927) Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, 1970 14.5" long

Decorative competition decoy. Fine surface texture with comb feather paint on the flanks. Head is slightly turned to the right and has intricate bill details. The main wing feather tips are raised and the paddle tail is carved.

The old competition sticker tag states this decoy took 2nd at the 1970 Babylon (Long Island) decoy show.

Condition: Near mint with minimal shelf wear.
