The catalog record
J.W. Reynolds Decoy Co. (1904-1949) Chicago, IL, c.1905 Two early sets of folding silhouettes. These appear to be earlier and 6" longer than the companies Illinois River folding models. They are also hinged with two hinges on either side of the middle silhouette and their V-shape is held with a hook lock instead of a spring. One set has chamfered edges along the top. The earlier set with chamfered edges is in original condition with wear to the wood in places. The other set has rare glass eyes and is in original condition with light gunning wear. Neither has a stamp.
