Robert Gohl Canvasback Pair

Robert Gohl Troy, MI c.2014 15" long

Carved with wing pockets on the side and a center line down the back to define the wings and bring realism to the birds. Both have thick combed feather paint across the back and sides. Drake and hen have nicely carved head and bill details with glass eyes. The drake is more alert and the hen is more content, the heads are turned off to the left. Keeled on the bottom and signed and dated by the artist.

Condition: Near mint, tight paint line at the base of the drakes neck.
