David Sleunwhite (1864-1938) Tancook Island, NS, c. 1900 Unusual mushroom-shaped head with pronounced crest. Fine "guitar pick" shaped paint pattern on the sides. Original paint with some working touch-up, flaking to the wing areas and back of the neck, the inletted head is slightly lifted from the body and a hairline crack runs along the back.
