The commercial predecessor to decoy factories was George Petersen. His decoys would later be widely adopted in style by the Dodge Decoy Factory also of Detroit, MI. Wide hipped and early body Peterson. Deep relief carving where the bill meets the face, another early stylistic influence to later factories. Retains its original rigging.

Condition: Mix of original and some working paint. Head is slightly loose. Small dents across the body with some roughness to the bill and tail edges
