Tom Fitzpatrick (1887-1958) Delanco, NJ c 1930's 16" long

Perhaps one of the finest examples of a resting black duck by Tom in this body style. Aside from the pristine condition and dry surface, the paint detail exceeds what is seen on most black ducks by Tom. Carved bill details, fluted tail, and raised 'V' wingtips with incised carving. Hollow carved with lead pad weight. It is interesting to note that only the left side of the raised primary received feather painting!

Condition: Excellent and original, slight rubbing on tail feathers, slight separation at seam. Couple dents in back
