Ward Brothers Two Pintail Drakes

The Ward Brothers, Lemuel T. (1896-1983) and Stephen (1895-1976) Crisfield, MD, 1937 and 1940 Two solid cedar decoys with painted eyes, slightly-turned heads, and painted feathering. One is signed and dated by both brothers. Both have the "Made By L.T. Ward & Bro. Crisfield, MD." ink stamp on the bottom. Both are in original paint with gunning wear and age checks. One decoy has a significant check down its back and another through its head. The other decoy has several checks emanating from the breast running through the bottom.
