Richard Chmiel White-winged Scoter

Richard Chmiel East Lyme, CT c.1990's 21.75" long

Large and animated working decoy with a nicely sculpted body differentiating the wings and side pockets of the bird. Richard is an avid decoy carving competitor having competed at the Ward Worlds, and a board member of the Connecticut Waterfowlers Association. The underside has the "Chmiel" brand and his brass owner tag.

Condition: Very good and original with a couple marks from shelf wear including two small dents on the bill
