Adam Brown (1865-1952) Gananoque, Ontario c.1910's 12"
Working bluebill hen decoy in original paint with the original weight and line loop. A complete find with both of those as they were regularly removed to sit better on mantles and shelves. Head is lifted and angles gently to the left.

Condition: Original with gunning wear. Numerous small dents in the back and the head has lifted slightly off of the neck seat but is firm and doesn't move. Paint rubs across the body, mostly on bill and tail edges.
