Herb Miller Swimming Snow Goose

Herb Miller (b.1935) Ship Bottom, NJ 24" long

Beautifully painted swimming snow goose. Deep midline down the back do define the wings which come to a raised 'V'. Three incised lines are within the raised 'V' to define the primary feathers. The tail feathers are carved in stepdown pattern. The bill has a deep mandible line with nostrils and is carved where the bill meets the face. Speckled dotting surrounds the front of the face and the glass eyes. The bottom is rigged for use and has the H MILLER brand as well as being signed by the artist.
