Forest Jennings Goldeneye Pair
Goldeneye Pair - Forrest " Bud" Jennings
The catalog record
Forrest "Bud" Jennings Shamong, NJ c.1997 Drake 14" long | Hen 13" long
Very nicely sculpted working pair of decoys by this maker. The hen, with its tucked head, has tufted rippling around the back of the head and deep side pockets and back grooves to form the wings. The drake, with an alert posture, has a tufted head that is turned off to the left and bears the same sculpting around the wings. Both have raised and crossed wing tips that come to a point before a smoothie tail. Both are signed on the bottom and have the F. Jennings brand in the bottom as well.
Condition: Very good and original with minimal working wear to include some paint discoloration (mostly on the drake) and paint flaking.
