Robert Elliston Pintail

Robert Elliston (1849-1915) Bureau, IL, c. 1900 A hollow decoy with the classic "V" notched bill and scratch feather paint by Catherine Elliston. Retains original Elliston weight. In mostly original paint with some areas possibly taken down. A few small areas of paint are worn to the wood. Some age lines in the breast, along the body seam and under the tail. Lower half of bill has been professionally replaced.
