Hurley Conklin (1913-1983) Manahawkin, NJ 15.75" long
Classic hollow carved Conklin body with thick comb painting on the back. Slight relief carving around the wing tips to slightly elevate them. Head is slightly turned to the left with deep carving where the bill meets the face. Branded H. CONKLIN on the underside with an inlet lead poured weight.
Condition: Very good and original, paint has mellowed nicely. Scattered with some small age dots across the back and has a small spot of paint loss on the rear left side.
