Mason Decoy Factory (1896-1924) Detroit, MI c.1910 17" long

"Challenge Grade" model, nicely preserved surface with a desirable snakey neck. Aside from some generic age issues, the paint is dry and bright. Retains the original rigging as well as a Richard Oliver auction tag.

Condition: Original with a loose neck and some loss to the filler as well as a small tail chip and roughness in that area. There is an age split running the length of the topside of the decoy and an in the making filled split that is appearing on the lower left. Small dents and spots of paint wear across the body and head. Right eye may be a factory defect eye.
