Charles Allen Bordentown, NJ, c. 1955 With nice raised-wing, incised tail and bill carving. Fine scratch-comb paint along the back. These birds are out of Allen's personal gunning rig, branded "C.L. Allen" on the bottom.
The drake is in near mint original paint. Hen is in near mint original paint, with a tight neck crack that is slightly lifted, some minor paint loss, a few minor rubs to the body and along the edge of the tail.
