Frederick "Rick" Brown Point Pleasant, NJ c.2000 16" long
Classic Delaware River style brant decoy that took first in class and show at the Ocean County Decoy & Gunning Show in 2000 and comes with its original ribbons. The decoy is hollow carved with soft paint and bears the classic raised 'V' wing tips and fluted tail feathers. The bill is nicely formed with the head turning just off to the left a bit. The underside has a thick lead pad weight and line tie.
