The catalog record

Elisha Burr (b. 1864) Hingham, MA, c. 1890 Rare pair of early South Shore, Massachusetts, decoys with tack eyes. Both birds have the maker's "E. BURR" brand on bottom. Both birds are in appealing repaint. The drake shows some flaking to the wood. The hen has minor flaking and retains her original weight.
