Harvey A. Stevens Decoys (1880-1894) Weedsport, NY, c. 1890 A classic Stevens "Factory" decoy that was hand carved and painted. Pictured and described in the book American Factory Decoys as an "exceptional Stevens black duck decoy, rounded bottom model." Original paint with some gunning wear and minor flaking mostly to breast and underside where the maker used filler; hairline crack to bill.
