Augustus Aaron Wilson (1864-1950) South Portland, ME, c. 1890 A white-winged scoter in a swimming or mussel swallowing posture with carved, raised wings. Unusual rigging incorporating eight fisherman's lead weights strung together and a large leather anchor loop.
In original paint with old in-use repaint to speculum, eyes, and bill, and gunning wear.
