Bob White Swan

Robert "Bob" White (b. 1939) Tullytown, PA, 1985 33 in. long

An exceedingly rare Delaware River swan with a hollow body and high turned head. The maker's signature and date are inked on the underside. This decoy brings to mind the virtual absence of swans by any known makers from the region that predate this example. Original paint with light wear and a small ding in back.
