What Southards have brought
How these numbers are madeEvery dot is a sale (price includes buyer's premium, log scale). The line is the median of the trailing twelve months, shown only when that window has at least 5 sales. Hover or tap any dot for the bird behind it; click to open the sale.
Working decoys only (25 lots). Miniatures, half-size birds and decoratives are left out of the median but still shown as dots. Hover or tap any dot for the bird behind it; click to open the sale.

Prices are what the buyer paid, including the auction house's premium. The line on the chart is the median of the trailing twelve months, redrawn every night. A window holding fewer than 5 sales gets no point at all, which is why the line breaks rather than bridging a quiet stretch.
Only sold lots are counted. Sales by year: 2025: 5 · 2026: 3. Coverage is Guyette & Deeter and Copley; private sales, shows and other houses aren't in this data.
