Hurley Conklin (1913-1983) Manahawkin, NJ c.1950's 17" long

Early pre-brand hollow carved decoy in a forward swimming position with a rare open mouth. The wing tip edges are slightly raised. Bears the Noyes Museum (Oceanville, NJ) ink stamp on the bottom and is struck numerous times SGH for Sommers G Headly.

Condition: Original with light wear and a small chip in the tail.
