Part of a rig mate pair from Ken Cole's rig. The feeding hen is the next lot in this sale.

Hollow carved in a resting posture with the original keel and a delicately pinched breast. Exceptional working decoy with a grain textured surface and soft matte paint. The head has scratch feathering painting, glass eyes, and carved bill details with yellow paint indicating the drake. The bottom bears Marty's black ink Prior Lake makers stamp as well as Ken Cole's red ink reward for return stamp.

Condition: Very good original condition with minimal working wear.
