Part of a rig mate pair from Ken Cole's rig. The resting drake is the prior lot in this sale.
Hollow carved in a forward feeding posture with the original keel and a delicately pinched breast. Exceptional working decoy with a grain textured surface and soft matte paint. The head has scratch feathering painting, glass eyes, and carved bill details with drab green paint indicating the hen. The bottom bears Marty's black ink Prior Lake makers stamp.
Condition: Very good and original with light working wear.
