Ken Harris Bluebill Drake

Ken Harris (1905-1981) Woodville, NY, c. 1960's 14" long

Never used working model bluebill decoy. Simple but effective paint with light vermiculation across the back and green iridescense in the head. The head is slightly turned to the right and has cut out eye lines and light bill carved details. Solid body with an attached keel. The initial price of $6.50 written in pencil is still clearly visible on the bottom. Retains the large makers white ink stamp on the bottom. Condition: Very good and original with very minimal shelf wear and some aging discoloration to the white sides.
